Sus dibujos figurativos iniciales fueron evolucionando hacia la abstracción, estas estuvieron cargadas de humor, erotismo y reflexión desde sus inicios. Se ha descartado como el último surrealista y uno de los más importantes del siglo XX.

In the early days of his artistic career, his works reflected his metaphysical concerns and the importance of religious creations. The initial figurative drawings of him were evolving towards abstraction, these were loaded with humor, eroticism and reflection from the beginning. He has been dismissed as the last surrealist and one of the most important of the 20th century.
